Why do people go to Walmart for tires and oil changes?
Filed Under news | Comments Off
I was wondering why people go to Walmart to get tires and service work done. It’s always took about two hours when my girlfriend went there. Sure its cheaper but is it worth waiting and shopping for two hours?

Why do produce and meats from Walmart seem to spoil more quickly?
Filed Under news | Comments Off
I did a little grocery shopping at Walmart for the first time last Thursday instead of my usual visit to Kroger, and I picked up the same type of Hillshire Farm meat like I always do. I made a sandwich with it today, and couldn’t stop smelling some sort of wet dog smell. I sniffed the container and it smelled like something died in there! I’ve never had a problem with it going bad before in a week. Does this have something to do with it coming from Walmart?
PS: Don’t ever buy perishable food at Walmart.

How is Walmart cheaper than grocery stores?
Filed Under news | Comments Off
Due to the bad economy I have discovered Walmart for groceries. They are really cheap for fried jumbo shrimp. I can make 4 servings of 8 jumbo shrimp for $2 each and they are as good as any other shrimp. Also bacon and milk is cheaper than grocery stores. What do you buy there that is a better deal than grocery stores?

How much money does Walmart make by customers leaving bags?
Filed Under news | Comments Off
I was wondering what you guys think about this. Do you think Walmart makes enough to buy a small country just on what customers leave in the little white bags at checkout in Walmart who never realize they left it?

What payment methods are accepted at a Walmart Wireless In Store Location?

I know they accept MC / Visa. But do they allow you to pay for your phone equipment using a Walmart Charge? Or is it strictly Cash / Major Credit Card?
Not the walmart visa or walmart discover.
I am talking about the walmart charge card.
The one that can only be used at walmart / sams club.

How much does a fully synthetic oil change cost at Walmart?
Filed Under news | Comments Off
How much does a fully synthetic oil change cost at Walmart? Don’t bother giving me pros and cons. I already know them. I just want a price.
Did I not just say, “don’t give me pros and cons?”
Oil changes seem to run very high where I just moved. It’s around $60 at an auto shop for just a regular oil change. Thanks for the info, though.
As far as oil filter goes, I will be asking for a Fram, even if I have to pay extra.

How long does it take after an interview before Walmart calls you back?
Filed Under news | Comments Off
I had an interview with Walmart last friday and the lady that interviewed me said that she would enter the information in the computer and a member of management would contact me within a week or two. Is this usually how Walmart does the interview process or is this what they say if they don’t intend to hire someone? Any information would be great. I know a lot of people hate Walmart but I have to have a job and they are the only ones hiring where I live.

Ceramics are used in many items
Filed Under news | Comments Off
Most people are probably totally unaware of how many items make use of ceramics. For example, would you even begin to think that many dog bowls are made of ceramics? Actually ceramic dog bowls are quite common and fido seems to love eating his dinner from these bowls. They are sturdy and long lasting. When most people think of ceramics they tend to think of arts and crafts but that only begins to scratch the surface of the many uses of ceramics.
